1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or participating in the Global Mission Summit ("GMS" or "Event"), organized by the Global Mission Institute ("GMI"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GMI. GMI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Policies at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or on the event website.


2. Participation and Conduct

All participants must maintain a respectful, professional, and inclusive environment. By attending, you agree to:

• Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, abuse, or disruptive behavior.
• Comply with all instructions from event organizers and staff.
• Act in a manner consistent with a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for all attendees.

GMI reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any participant whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, without refund.


3. Photography, Videography & Media Consent

By attending the Global Mission Summit, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. Such media may be used for, but not limited to:

• Promotional materials
• Social media content
• Websites and online platforms
• Event documentation and future advertising by GMI and its affiliates

Your participation constitutes a waiver of any rights to inspect or approve the use of any media where your likeness appears. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify event staff upon arrival.


4. Age Restriction and Guardian Requirements

Participants must be at least 18 years of age to register and attend. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult guardian and are only permitted with prior written approval by GMI.

 

5. Event Content and Intellectual Property

All event content, including presentations, materials, recordings, and branding, is the intellectual property of GMI. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share event content without explicit written permission from GMI.


6. Ticket Transfer, No Refund Policy, and Payment Disputes

Participant-Initiated Cancellations

• All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be provided.
• In the event a registered attendee cannot attend the Global Mission Summit, the name on the ticket may be re-assigned by the original purchaser through the event website at any time prior to the event. On-site badge reprinting will be available if needed.

Event Cancellation by GMI

• If GMI cancels the event, a full refund will be issued to registered participants.

No-Shows or Partial Attendance

• No refunds will be issued for participants who fail to attend the event in full or in part.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

• Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback without prior communication will result in immediate cancellation of access to the event.

GMI reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, and such changes will be communicated in advance.


7. Force Majeure

GMI shall not be held liable for delays, changes, or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Acts of God
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Government restrictions
• Political unrest

In such cases, GMI reserves the right to reschedule or convert the event format (e.g., virtual), with refunds provided at its discretion.


8. Accessibility Statement

GMI is committed to creating an inclusive environment. Please contact info@theglobalmi.com no later than 14 days before the event to request accommodations.


9. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GMI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Global Mission Summit.

Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GMI, its affiliates, officers, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to their participation.


10. Assumption of Risk and Health Acknowledgment

By participating in the event, you acknowledge that attendance and participation may involve risks including, but not limited to, physical injury, illness, or property damage. You voluntarily assume all such risks and release GMI from any liability arising therefrom, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Participants are solely responsible for their personal health and safety. In the event of a medical emergency, GMI may seek emergency medical services on your behalf. GMI disclaims any liability for the outcome of such services.


11. Third-Party Services Disclaimer

GMI may facilitate access to or contract with third-party vendors, including but not limited to catering, lodging, technology platforms, and transportation providers. GMI shall not be liable for the actions, omissions, or services of such third parties.


12. Virtual Participation Disclaimer

For virtual or hybrid sessions, participants are responsible for securing the necessary hardware, software, and internet access. GMI is not liable for technical difficulties, interruptions, or access issues outside of its control.
